It’s Friday Kids. And I’m excited about my post.
Todays treat combines a couple things that I love, a kick ass blues duo (The Black Keys), some killer hip hop (Jim Jones and Billy Danze) and some sexy soulful pipes (Nicole Wray). A couple month ago the Black Keys, great band by the way, put out an album where they collaborated with a bunch of hip hop legends, Mos Def, RZA, ODB, NOE, Raekwon, Luda, etc. The album is dope, but this song in my mind is hands down the crown Jewel of the album.
And it wasn’t until early this week that Jake Grand, a loyal follower of the our blog, (there’s your shout out Jake) turned me on to this ridiculously sexy video. I love the way its shot, I love its look, its vibe, ohh fuck it, I love everything about this song and video.
